What The Future Holds (song)
"What the Future Holds" is a song recorded by British group Steps for their sixth studio album of the same name (2020). Background and release On 7 September 2020, Steps announced that they would release their sixth album ''What the Future Holds'' on 27 November, preceded by its title track, in addition to embarking on a United Kingdom arena tour in 2021. In a message released online, the group stated "We couldn't keep it a secret any longer!" It is their first album to be released with their new record label based in the United States, BMG. The song "What the Future Holds" premiered on Zoe Ball's ''The Radio 2 Breakfast Show'' on 8 September and was released as the lead single the same day on download and streaming platforms. A remix of the single by Cahill was released on 30 September. Steps (group)
Steps are a British dance-pop group consisting of Lee Latchford-Evans, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer and Ian "H" Watkins. Steps were formed in May 1997 and achieved a series of charting singles between 1997 and 2001 including two number-one singles in the UK (one a double A-side), two number-one albums in the UK, 14 consecutive top 5 singles in the UK and a string of hits throughout Europe. The group has sold over 22 million records worldwide in addition to acquiring a BRIT Award nomination in 1999 for Best Newcomer while supporting Britney Spears on tour the same year. When Richards and Watkins departed to form a recording duo, the group disbanded on 26 December 2001. Their penultimate single reached number five in the UK charts while their final album of greatest hits, ''Gold'' (2001), was the group's second number-one album in the UK. Scott-Lee signed a record deal with Mercury Records and launched a solo career in 2003 although her success was limited after the release her debut single "Lately", and was dropped after her second single. She released her debut solo album ''Never or Now'' in 2007 through Concept Records. Early life Scott-Lee's great-grandfather was Chinese. Her younger siblings are Andy Scott-Lee, Anthony Scott-Lee and Steven Scott-Lee, who were in the band 3SL. Her father is called Tony and her mother, Jan. Claire Anne Richards (born 17 August 1977) is an English singer who is best known for being in the pop group Steps. Richards was a contestant on the second series of ''Popstar to Operastar'' before being voted off in the semi finals. She possesses the vocal range of a soprano. Lee Latchford-Evans (born 28 January 1975) is an English singer, dancer, stage actor and one of the five singers of the British pop group Steps. Early life From Ellesmere Port, Evans was born as Lee Latchford Evans, with his middle name Latchford taken from footballer Bob Latchford of Everton F.C., as his father was a lifelong fan of the club. He began using his middle name professionally to differentiate himself from well-known comedian Lee Evans. For a time he was known as Lee Latchford before adding a hyphen between his middle name and surname. Cahill (band)
Cahill are a dance music group based in Liverpool, UK consisting of producers Anton Powers, Tim Condran and Scott Rosser. They are best known for their 2008 single, " Trippin' on You", which features vocals from Nikki Belle. Background Cahill are named after Tim Cahill, the star midfielder for Everton F.C., the team Anton Powers supports. The three producers and Nikki Belle recorded the song "''Trippin' On You''" in 2007, and the song became popular in Liverpool's nightclubs, before it appeared on the Clubland 13 compilation album.
