Wests Tigers Women
The Wests Tigers Women are an Australian professional rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. The team is part of the Wests Tigers club and plays in the National Rugby League Women's Premiership. In June 2022 Wests Tigers were accepted into the NRLW for the 2023 Season. Brett Kimmorley was announced as head coach in October 2022. In early April 2023 the club made their first player signing announcement, with the naming of Kezie Apps, Botille Vette-Welsh, and Sarah Togatuki. Wests Tigers Women played their first NRLW competition game in July 2023. Western Sydney Stadium
Western Sydney Stadium, commercially known as CommBank Stadium, is a multi-purpose rectangular stadium in Parramatta, within the Greater Western Sydney region, approximately west of Sydney CBD. It replaced the demolished Parramatta Stadium (1986) which in turn was built on the site of the old Cumberland Oval, home ground to the Parramatta Eels since 1947. The current stadium opened in April 2019 and has a 30,000 seat capacity. The stadium is owned by the NSW Government, operated by VenuesLive, designed by Populous Architects, engineered by Aurecon and built by Lendlease with a build cost of $300 million. The Gold Coast Titans Women are a professional rugby league football club, based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The team is part of the Gold Coast Titans club and plays in the National Rugby League Women's Premiership (NRLW), Australia's premier club competition for women. On 11 June 2021, the NRL announced that the club's application for a licence to join the NRLW had been accepted, as part of the expansion of the competition for the 2021 season. A few days later, on 14 June 2021, Jamie Feeney was announced as the inaugural coach of the Titans Women's team.. In early September 2021, the NRL announced that due to border restrictions then in place to mitigate COVID-19, the 2021 season would be postponed to early in the new year.
