Israel Folau ( to, ‘Isileli Folau; born 3 April 1989) is an Australian professional rugby union footballer who plays for the Shining Arcs in the Japan Rugby League One and the Tonga national rugby union team. He has previously played Australian rules football and rugby league. In 2019, he became the record holder for most tries scored in Super Rugby history. Folau played rugby league for the Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League (NRL) from 2007 to 2008, where he broke the record for most tries in a debut year. Solonaima Maria Folau (née Tuta'ia; born 18 February 1987 in Tokoroa, New Zealand) is a retired New Zealand netball player. She played regularly for the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns. Early life Folau was born Solonaima Maria Tuta'ia in Tokoroa on 18 February 1987, the daughter of Fuisami Tuta'ia, a forestry worker, and his wife, Niukini, a homemaker, who in 1983 had moved to New Zealand from Samoa. She was named for her grandmothers, Solonaima and Malia, and she began using her middle name when she entered school as her teacher had difficulty pronouncing her first name. Maria Tuta'ia was an attendee of Lynfield College but in the final year of it, transferred to Mount Albert Grammar School. At MAGS, she became a captain of its first Premier Netball team, which under her command came fourth at the Upper North Island Secondary Schools tournament and New Zealand Secondary Schools' Championships respectively. Spencer Sione Folau (born April 5, 1973) is a former American football offensive lineman who played in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens 1997-2000, Miami Dolphins 2001, New Orleans Saints 2002-2004, and Washington Redskins 2005. He was a member of the 2000 Ravens team that won Super Bowl XXXV. He is currently the offensive line and strength and conditioning coach at McDonogh (High) School, in Owings Mills, Maryland. Folau Fainga'a (born 5 May 1995) is an Australian professional rugby union player who currently plays at hooker for the Western Force. He previously played for the ACT Brumbies and the . Folau is currently signed on with Rugby Australia and has been selected to play for the Australian national rugby team the Wallabies for the 2022 season. Career Fainga'a began his senior rugby career with Sydney University. He played for that club in the Shute Shield for three seasons starting from 2015. Fainga'a was selected in the Australian Under-20 team in 2015 and played at the World Championship in Italy.
