The Rentals are an American rock band fronted by vocalist Matt Sharp. Sharp has been the only consistent member since the group's inception. The band's best selling single is "Friends of P" (1995). The Rentals released two albums, ''Return of the Rentals'' (1995) and '' Seven More Minutes'' (1999) on Maverick Records before quietly splitting in 1999 following a world tour. The group reformed in 2005 and have since released several EPs and two more full-length albums, ''Lost in Alphaville'' and ''Q36''. Cherielynn Westrich (born January 21, 1966) is an American politician from the state of Iowa. Westrich was born in Missouri in 1966. She resides in Ottumwa, Iowa. Matthew Kelly Sharp (born September 22, 1969) is an American songwriter and musician. Until 1998, he was the bassist for the alternative rock band Weezer, which he cofounded in 1992. Lucius is an American four-piece indie pop band. The group was founded by lead vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, joined by drummer Dan Molad, guitarist Peter Lalish, and, formerly, multi-instrumentalist Andrew Burri. Patrick James Carney (born April 15, 1980) is an American musician and producer best known as the drummer of the Black Keys, a blues rock band from Akron, Ohio. Justin Fisher is an American born bassist most well known for being the bassist in Nerf Herder, touring bassist for The Rentals and lead singer for Psoma. Fisher also co-founded Rivers Cuomo's first band Avant Garde. Fisher played guitar and was the backing vocalist for Shufflepuck who were signed to Interscope records in the 1990s. Rachel Haden
Rachel Haden (born October 11, 1971 in New York City) is an American musician and one of the triplet daughters of jazz bassist Charlie Haden. In the early 1990s, Haden played bass guitar for That Dog, a band that also included her sister Petra. Her sister Tanya also contributed cello on several That Dog recordings, but did not tour as an official member of the band. Around this time Haden also played drums and performed backup vocals for Beck on the songs "Totally Confused" and "Steve Threw Up". She also played drums for Beck's "Pink Noise (Rock Me Amadeus)".
