Jamie Blake
Jamie Blake (born c. 1975) is a singer/songwriter. Blake grew up in Chicago before moving to Washington DC in 1993, where she attended The American University. She left for New York in 1994 to study at New York University. She was signed by A&M Records in 1996. Her debut album, self-titled ''Jamie Blake'', was released in August 1997. She made a special guest appearance as herself on the television show "Beverly Hills 90210". Songs from that album appeared on the television show Gossip Girl in 2009. In 2000 she created an album for Geffen Records as part of the duo "vixtrola"; Songs from the album have appeared in the movie Darkness Falls and various television shows. She has worked alongside Jeff Buckley, Tricky, Ric Ocasek (The Cars), Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, The Vandals & Nine Inch Nails), and Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie & Marilyn Manson). Scissor Sisters were an American pop rock band formed in 2001. Its members include Jake Shears and Ana Matronic as vocalists, Babydaddy as multi-instrumentalist, Del Marquis as lead guitar/bassist, and Randy Real (who replaced Paddy Boom) as drummer. Oliver Edward Ackermann (born November 22, 1976) is an American rock musician, who is the founder of the Brooklyn-based effects pedal company Death By Audio and is guitarist and vocalist for A Place to Bury Strangers, a rock band hailed as "the loudest band in New York". Biography Ackermann was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He spent his childhood in St. Peter, Minnesota and Fredericksburg, Virginia attending Falmouth Elementary School, Drew Middle School, and Stafford High School. Ackermann studied Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design. He returned to Fredericksburg, Virginia and worked at Zolo Designs. Slayer
Slayer was an American thrash metal band from Huntington Park, California. The band was formed in 1981 by guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, drummer Dave Lombardo and bassist/vocalist Tom Araya. David Lombardo (born February 16, 1965) is a Cuban-American drummer, best known as a co-founding member of American thrash metal band Slayer. He is currently playing drums with Testament, Fantômas, Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Cross, Mr. Bungle, and the Misfits. Lombardo previously played drums on nine Slayer albums, including '' Reign in Blood'' (1986) and ''Christ Illusion'' (2006). Julie Potash (born March 20), also known as Hesta Prynn, is an American musician, singer, and rapper from Long Island, New York. She began her career in music as one-third of the all-female hip-hop group Northern State. After the band broke up she started focusing on solo material.
