Clemens Westerhof
Clemens Westerhof (born 3 May 1940) is a Dutch football manager, who has worked in various football positions on the African continent since 1989. He is most noted for his success with the Nigerian national team. Under Westerhof, the Super Eagles won the 1994 African Cup of Nations and also qualified for the second round of the FIFA World Cup that year. Westerhof began his career as an assistant coach with Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie. He has also coached Vitesse Arnhem, the Zimbabwean national team, the Sporting Lions of Zimbabwe's Premier League, and the Bush Bucks and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa's Premier Soccer League. In addition, he has served as technical director of the Harare-based Agatha Sheneti Youth Academy and also of the Harare United club, which was linked to the academy. Lisa Laetitia Westerhof (born 2 November 1981, in De Bilt) is a sailor from the Netherlands. Westerhof represented her country at the Optimist World Championship in 1995 and 1996, becoming only the second girl to win the championship outright. She sailed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. With crew Margriet Matthijsse took Westerhof 9th place as helmsman in the Dutch Women's 470. Hans Westerhof
Hans Westerhof (born 24 November 1948) is a Dutch football coach and currently supervisory board member at SC Heerenveen. Besides the Netherlands, he has coached in the United States and Mexico. As a player, Westerhof played for BV Veendam and BVO Cambuur of the Dutch First Division. He began his coaching career in 1982, and has managed ONS Sneek, ACV, Groningen (1988–92 and 1994–96), PSV Eindhoven (1992–1994), the Dutch U-21 national team (1996–97), Ajax Amsterdam (2000), Willem II Tilburg (2000–03) and Chivas de Guadalajara (2003–04), Necaxa (2007–2008) Westerhof originally joined Chivas de Guadalajara in 2003 as sporting director of the club's teams, but took over the dual role as head coach of the first team in October of that year. Ailke Westerhof
Ailke Westerhof (Leens, 27 April 1876 - Leens, 4 September 1946) was a Dutch nurse who served in the Red Cross during the Balkan Wars and World War I. Biography Westerhof was born in Leens, Groningen, the daughter of the blacksmiths Ebel Westerhof and Itje de Vries. From 1912 to 1919, she worked as a nurse during the Balkan Wars and during the First World War in Hungary and Serbia. Under doctor Arius van Tienhovenhe she nursed typhus patients in Valjevo. Subsequently, she was employed by the Amsterdamse Vrijwillige Burgerwacht and as a teacher at the Red Cross in Amsterdam. In 1924, she was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau. In 1935, she was awarded the Florence Nightingale Medal by Princess Juliana. She also received several awards in Serbia for her work, such as the Cross of Mercy and a medal for bravery.
