Football Club West United is a Surinamese football club based in Totness, Coronie District, Suriname. The club presently compete in the Eerste Klasse, the 2nd tier of Surinamese football. History FC West United are a football club from the Coronie District in Suriname, the team play their home games in Totness at the Letitia Vriesde Sportcomplex to a capacity of 1,000. In 2013 the team won the Lidbondentoernooi, defeating Deva Boys and thus promoting to the Eerste Klasse, the 2nd tier of football in Suriname. The team finished in tenth place in the first season. In 2014 the team made it to the Semi-finals of the Surinamese Cup by defeating the Deva Boys in the quarterfinals. In the Semi-finals the team lost to Notch from Moengo. In 2015 West United were paired with Notch once more in the first round of the Surinamese Cup. This time however West United were able to defeat Notch, thus progressing in the tournament by eliminating last years runner-up of the competition. ...

Letitia Vriesde Sportcomplex is a multi-purpose stadium in Totness, Suriname. It is home to SVB Eerste Klasse club F.C. West United. Former top flight clubs and Coronie Sport Bond (CSB) members F.C. Totness, Suriname
Totness is a town in Suriname, located in the Coronie district, of which it is the capital. Totness is the oldest settlement in the district. History Totness was settled by Scottish and English colonists from 1808 onward, and is named after Totnes, England. In 1863, the area around Totness was designated for independent agriculture. A market and a District Commissioner's Office on the former plantation Friendship were added to the resort. In the 1940s, a road was built linking Totness with Paramaribo which is nowadays part of the East-West Link. The Suriname-Guyana Submarine Cable System has its landing station in Totness. SVB Eerste Klasse
The SVB Tweede Divisie is second-highest division overall in the Surinamese football league system after the Topklasse, where the top club is promoted to each season. The weakest club is relegated to the Lidbondentoernooi. The league was previously known as the SVB Eerste Klasse but became the Hoofdklasse for the 2016–17 season after Suriname's top division changed its name from Hoofdklasse to Topklasse, only to be rebranded as the Tweede Divisie for the 2017–18 season. Coronie District
Coronie is a district of Suriname, situated on the coast. Coronie's capital city is Totness. The district border the Atlantic Ocean to the north, the Surinamese district of Saramacca to the east, the Surinamese district of Sipaliwini to the south and the Surinamese district of Nickerie to the west. The district is served by the Totness Airstrip. The district has a population of 3,391 and an area of 3,902 km2, and is the district with the smallest population. SVB Lidbondentoernooi
The SVB Derde Divisie ( en, Member Associations Tournament) is an annual football tournament organized by the Surinamese Football Association (SVB) since 2006. It is also known as the SURIBET Lidbondentoernooi due to sponsorship. The tournament is contested by the winners and runners-up of the districts leagues from the 20 regional member associations of the SVB. Moengo
Moengo () is a town in Suriname, located in the Marowijne district, between Paramaribo and the border town Albina on the Cottica River. Moengo is also a resort (municipality) in the district of Marowijne. Moengo was the capital of Marowijne District between 1932 and 1945. The current capital is Albina. History Moengo started as a Maroon village on top of a hill overlooking the Cottica River. The settlement was later abandoned due to the difficulty of building houses on the bauxite rich ground. In 1916, Alcoa founded the first bauxite mine in Suriname, and this marks the beginning of the current town. Moengo was designed in 1919 to house 4,000 people.
