New Rochelle (; older french: La Nouvelle-Rochelle) is a city in Westchester County, New York, United States, in the southeastern portion of the state. Pelham is a suburban town in Westchester County, approximately 10 miles northeast of Midtown Manhattan. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 13,078, an increase from the 2010 census. Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital (formerly New Rochelle Hospital and Sound Shore Medical Center) is a community-based, teaching hospital located at 16 Guion Place in the West End of the city of New Rochelle, in Westchester County, New York, and affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
