Wesna Busic (born June 26, 1983), better known by her ring name Wesna, is a Croatian German professional wrestler She mostly wrestled in Germany, but also over all of Europe as well as in Japan and America. Despite being a female, she often wrestles men and has won championships from male wrestlers, including holding the Athletik Club Wrestling's (ACW) Tag Team Championship with Crazy Sexy Mike. She won the eighth ChickFight tournament in England, which started her long feud with American wrestler Cheerleader Melissa, along with other exclusively female championships such as the National Wrestling Alliance's German version of the Women's Championship and German Stampede Wrestling's World Women's Championship. ChickFight was a women's professional wrestling promotion based in San Francisco, California. History ChickFight originally began as an eight-woman tournament with the first one taking place on October 29, 2004, in Hayward, California as part of All Pro Wrestling's ''Halloween Hell'' weekend. In 2006, ChickFight moved to San Francisco, California and ran regularly at the Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco's Haight Ashbury district. In 2007, the tournament was moved to England. Marie Kristin Gabert (June 4, 1982) is a German professional wrestler and former professional powerlifter, strongwoman, bodybuilder, and mixed martial artist under the names Alpha Female and Jazzy Gabert. Shimmer Women Athletes (often referred to and stylized as SHIMMER) is an American, Chicago-based independent women's professional wrestling promotion which held its first event on November 6, 2005. Established by Dave Prazak and run by both him and Allison Danger, the promotion was created to give female wrestling talent from North America and beyond a serious, non-objectifying platform on which to display their skills. The company takes a unique approach to staging its live events: Shimmer runs one large show every three months (on average) at the Eagles Club in Berwyn, Illinois. Two DVDs worth of material are taped at each of these super-shows, and are sold as single volumes—initially through Ring of Honor's online store, before being nationally distributed through retail outlets.
