Werner Schuster (sportsman)
Werner Schuster (born 4 September 1969 in Mittelberg, Hirschegg) is an Austrian ski jumping coach and a former ski jumper who competed from 1987 to 1995. He was the head coach of the Germany, German ski jumping national team from 2008 to 2019. From 1998 to 2007 he worked as a coach in Stams ski school (''Schigymnasium Stams''). In 2007 he became the head coach of Switzerland, Swiss ski jumping national team. In March 2008 Schuster was appointed as the head coach of the Germany, German national team, replacing Peter Rohwein. Mittelberg
Mittelberg is a municipality in the district of Bregenz in the Kleinwalsertal,in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is accessible by road only from Germany. Geography The town of Mittelberg lies in the Kleinwalsertal, a valley that is accessible by road only from Germany. The largest stream in the municipality is the Breitach which originates in Baad and flows through all three villages of Mittelberg, Hirschegg and Riezlern. Peter Rohwein
Peter Rohwein (born 26 June 1962 in Isny) is a West German former ski jumper who competed from 1981 to 1988. He finished sixth in the team large hill event at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. Rohwein's best individual World Cup finish was also sixth in a normal hill event in France in 1985. Rohwein coached the German Nordic combined team between 2000 and 2004, overseeing Ronny Ackermann when he won his two FIS Nordic Combined World Cup titles and a gold at the 2003 World Championships. He was coach of the German ski jumping team from 2004 until March 2008, when he was dismissed for lack of success. Germany won only one medal under Rohwein, a silver medal in the team event on the normal hill in Oberstdorf, and with two World Cup victories (one team) during the three seasons of his coaching.
