Originally, it was a duo consisting of Christopher von Deylen () and Mirko von Schlieffen. Around 2001 or 2002, von Schlieffen left the band, leaving von Deylen the solo member. Ein schöner Tag (English: ''A beautiful day'') is the first single from the 2001 Schiller gold album Weltreise with vocals by German singer Isgaard and spoken word passages by German actress and voice actress Franziska Pigulla (* 6 May 1965), who became famous in the German-speaking countries as a narrator of countless documentaries and as the voice of FBI Special Agent Dana Scully from ''The X-Files''. The song is titled internationally as "A Beautiful Day". The trance music single was officially released on 5 September 2000 in Germany and was peaking at number 40 on German Singles Chart in 2000 and at number 91 in Switzerland. Kim Sanders (born October 24, 1968 in East Chicago, Indiana) is an American singer and songwriter based in Germany. Sanders began to release singles as a solo artist in 1994 and wrote songs for other musicians. In 1993 and 1994, she released three of her singles, "Show Me", "Tell Me That You Want Me" and "Ride". In 1998, Sanders became the front-woman of the German dance project Culture Beat, on the album '' Metamorphosis''. In 2003, she released her debut album ''Pretty on Edge'', which failed to enter the charts due to the record company placing the incorrect bar code on the album. Peter Heppner (born 7 September 1967 in Hamburg) is the former lead singer of the German electronica/synth pop band Wolfsheim, and has collaborated with many other electronic music acts, such as Paul van Dyk, Schiller, and Goethes Erben. Career Being singer and songwriter for Wolfsheim since 1987, his first commercial success was in 1991 releasing the single "The Sparrows and the Nightingales". In 1998, he had a big charts success with NDW star Joachim Witt and their duet "Die Flut". In the years following, his notability as a singer increased. Otto Sander (; 30 June 1941 – 12 September 2013) was a German film, theater, and voice actor. Life Education and early career Sander grew up in Kassel, where he graduated in 1961 from the Friedrichgymnasium. After leaving school he spent his military service in 1961/62 with the Bundesmarine and left as reserve fenrik. Sander then studied theatre science, history of art and philosophy.
