''Welcome to the Neighbourhood'' is the seventh studio album by American rock singer Meat Loaf, released in 1995 as the follow-up to his successful comeback album '' Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell''. It went platinum in the United States and United Kingdom. The album is thought of as a concept album, as all of the songs are ordered in the track listing as to tell a story about a relationship throughout the years. Three singles were released: "I'd Lie for You (And That's the Truth)" (a duet with Patti Russo), "Not a Dry Eye in the House" and "Runnin' for the Red Light (I Gotta Life)". They reached #2, #7 and #21 in the UK charts, with the first two written by Diane Warren, who later also wrote songs for Meat Loaf's albums ''Couldn't Have Said It Better'' and '' Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose''. ''Welcome to the Neighbourhood'' is the second full-length studio album by British rock band Boston Manor. Released on September 7, 2018 on Pure Noise Records, the album serves as a follow-up to the band's 2016 debut studio album, '' Be Nothing.'' The album was produced by Mike Sapone at The Barber Shop Studios and was recorded between tours in North America and Europe in 2018. Upon its release, the album charted at number 80 on the Official UK Albums chart. The album's lead single, "Halo", was released on June 11, 2018. The second single, "Bad Machine", was released on August 13. The third and final single, "England's Dreaming", was released on September 4. In support of the album, the band toured internationally with bands such as Real Friends, Grayscale, Movements, and Trash Boat throughout 2018 and 2019. ''Welcome to the Neighborhood'' is an unaired American reality television series planned for broadcast by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC). The series was set to premiere on July 10, 2005, for a six-episode run, although it was abruptly removed from the ABC schedule only ten days before its planned broadcast. Filmed in Circle C Ranch, a suburban neighborhood in Austin, Texas, the series depicted a group of seven diverse families in competition for a $300,000 house in the neighborhood. In order to win the house, the families were required to compete in weekly challenges to gain the approval of three conservative white families that resided in the neighborhood. The three neighborhood families eliminated a competing family each week, in which the final one remaining would be awarded the house and become residents of Circle C Ranch.
