Árpád Weisz
Árpád Weisz (; also spelt ''Veisz''; 16 April 1896 – 31 January 1944) was a Hungarian Olympic association football, football player and manager. Weisz was Jewish, and was murdered with his wife and children by the Nazis during the Holocaust in World War II at Auschwitz concentration camp, Auschwitz. Career Playing career Weisz played club football as a Midfielder#Winger, left winger in Hungary for Törekvés SE, in Czechoslovakia for Makabi Brno, and in Italy for U.S. Alessandria Calcio 1912, Alessandria and F.C. Berthold Weisz
Berthold Weisz a Hungarian deputy; born at Budapest in 1845. He was educated at the gymnasium and commercial academy of his native city, devoting himself especially to the study of political economy. In 1876 he became a member of the arbitration committee of the Budapest exchange, and contributed much toward promoting Hungarian commerce and industry. He was one of the founders (1879) of the suburban railroad system of Budapest, and in the following year took part in the framing of the industrial code. Since 1883 he established the Hungarian preserve-factory and factories for brassware and cartridges in Budapest and Berlin, as well as textile manufactories in Waitzen, Banská Štiavnica, Kőszeg, and Ružomberok Ružomberok (; german: Rosenberg; hu, Rózsahegy; pl, Rużomberk) is a town in northern Slovakia, in the historical Liptov region. Erik Weisz
Harry Houdini (, born Erik Weisz; March 24, 1874 – October 31, 1926) was a Hungarian-American escape artist, magic man, and stunt performer, noted for his escape acts. His pseudonym is a reference to his spiritual master, French magician Robert-Houdin (1805–1871). He first attracted notice in vaudeville in the United States and then as "Harry 'Handcuff' Houdini" on a tour of Europe, where he challenged police forces to keep him locked up. Soon he extended his repertoire to include chains, ropes slung from skyscrapers, straitjackets under water, and having to escape from and hold his breath inside a sealed milk can with water in it. Ferenc Weisz (23 February 1885 – 8 July 1944) was a Hungarian football player and manager. Weisz, who was Jewish, played club football as a striker for Ferencváros and MTK, winning the Hungarian league nine times. He also represented his country at international level, earning 17 caps between 1903 and 1917. After retiring as a player in 1920, Weisz became manager of Újpest between 1920 and 1922.
