Sitthisak Suphalak ( th, สิทธิศักดิ์ ศุภลักษณ์; born April 23, 1984) is a Thai weightlifter. He won the silver medal for the 69 kg class at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand, with a total of 299 kilograms. Suphalak represented Thailand at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's lightweight category (69 kg). Suphalak placed eighth in this event, as he successfully lifted 147 kg in the single-motion snatch, and hoisted 171 kg in the two-part, shoulder-to-overhead clean and jerk, for a total of 318 kg. Nguyễn Thị Thiết (born October 27, 1984) is a Vietnamese weightlifter. She won a total of four medals (one gold and three silver) for the 63 kg class at the Southeast Asian Games (2003 in Hanoi, Vietnam, 2005 in Manila, Philippines, 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand, and 2009 in Vientiane, Laos). Nguyen made her official debut for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where she competed for the women's middleweight class (63 kg). She finished only in sixth place by ten kilograms short of her record from South Korea's Kim Soo-Kyung, with a total of 205.0 kilograms (95 in the snatch, and 110 in the clean and jerk). Hidilyn Francisco Diaz-Naranjo (; born February 20, 1991) is a Filipino World and Olympic champion weightlifter and airwoman, the first Filipino to ever win an Olympic gold medal for the Philippines. She is also an Olympic weightlifting record holder by winning the women's 55 kg category for weightlifting at the 2020 Summer Olympics. In her early weightlifting years, she was a bronze medalist in the 2007 SEA Games in Thailand and achieved 10th place at the 2006 Asian Games in the 53-kilogram class. Wandee Kameaim ( th, วันดี คำเอี่ยม, born January 18, 1978, in Ban Pong) is a Thai weightlifter. At the 2002 World Championships she won the silver medal in the 58 kg category, with 212.5 kg in total. She competed in the women's 58 kg at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal with 230.0 kg in total. Kameaim competed in the Women's 58 kg at the 2005 World Championships in Doha, Qatar and won the silver medal with 236.0 kg in total. For a short time she held the World Record in clean and jerk with 135 kg, but lost it in the same event to Gu Wei who lifted 136 kg, and then 139 kg. Weightlifting was contested by both men and women at the 2009 SEA Games in Vientiane, Laos. The Weightlifting Events were held at Pornsawan School, from 10 December to 13 December 2009, with 13 gold medals up for contention.
