''Wehshi'' () is a 2022 Pakistani television series based on the novel of the same name by Razia Butt. It is produced by Momina Duraid under banner MD Productions and directed by Iqbal Hussain. The series stars Khushhal Khan, Komal Meer, Subhan Awan, Nadia Khan and Babar Ali in leading roles. The series revolves around a parental orphan guy, whose deprivations make him wild, as labelled by others. ''Wehshi'' broadcast on Hum TV from 29 August 2022 to 27 December 2022. Plot Fathers of Sobia and Asif die on the same day when the two were kids. While father of Sobia always mistreated his second daughter (for being a girl), Asif was dearly loved by his father (only son). The lives of the 2 kids takes particularly drastic turns externally as well as internally. Asif's mother gets remarried for financial support of her son and endows herself in care of Asif's foster brother, Amir. ''Wehshi'' is an Urdu novel by Pakistani author Razia Butt. The novel revolves around the dysfunctional relation of a son with his mother and stepfather. The novel has been adapted into a film in 1972 and aWehshi (series), TV series in 2022. Syed Asrar Shah (born 20 April 1985) is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, musician, composer and writer based in Lahore. Razia Butt ( ur, ) was an Urdu novelist and playwright from Pakistan. One of the famous popular fiction writer of the 1960s and 1970s, she is often compared with English writer Barbara Cartland due to her popularity among the household readers. Some of her works have been adapted into television serials and films, including '' Bano''. Background Razia Niaz was born in Wazirabad on 19 May 1924. She spent most of her childhood in Peshawar.
