Jake Weary
Jacob Weary (born February 14, 1990) is an American actor. He is known for his role as Luke Snyder in the CBS soap opera ''As the World Turns'', Vince Keeler in NBC's action-drama series '' Chicago Fire'', and for his role as Kevin Lebow in '' Fred: The Movie'' (2010), its two sequels, and the television adaptation, Nickelodeon's '' Fred: The Show''. He currently stars as Deran Cody in the TNT drama series '' Animal Kingdom'', based on the Australian film of the same name. Career Acting Weary initially made a guest appearance on the long-running CBS soap opera ''Guiding Light'' in 2002, in which his mother, actress Kim Zimmer, portrayed Reva Shayne. Fred Edward Weary Jr. (born September 30, 1977) is a former American football guard. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Tennessee. Early years Weary was a standout football player and wrestler at Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama. As a wrestler, he was a three-time Alabama state champion and Reno Tournament of Champions winner, a national level high school wrestling tournament. College career He played college football at the University of Tennessee from 1997–2001. Professional career Houston Texans He was drafted in the 2002 NFL Draft by the Texans and started 12 of the 16 games he played in as a rookie. Joseph Frederick Weary (born April 12, 1974) is an American former college and professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons during the 1990s and 2000s.
