''Waterfall'' is the debut studio album, and the second charity album by South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and dancer B.I. It was released on June 1, 2021, by IOK Music X 131 Label, and distributed by Dreamus. The album contains 12 songs including the lead single "Illa Illa", all written and co-composed by B.I. ''Waterfall'' tells a condensed story of B.I's year-and-a-half-long hiatus from his perspective. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010. Robin Cho, better known as Choice37, is a Korean-American record producer, songwriter, and DJ based in South Korea. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016. In November 2018, Oricon began to include streaming in its album rankings, introducing a combined album chart based on album-equivalent units. Charts are published every Tuesday in Oricon Style and on Oricon's official website. A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. The groove usually starts near the periphery and ends near the center of the disc. At first, the discs were commonly made from shellac, with earlier records having a fine abrasive filler mixed in. Starting in the 1940s polyvinyl chloride became common, hence the name vinyl. The phonograph record was the primary medium used for music reproduction throughout the 20th century.
