Water Act 2003
The Water Act 2003 (c 37) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The report ''Taking Water Responsibly'', published in March 1999, was a precursor of this Act. Part 1 Section 1 - Licences to abstract water This section came into force on 1 April 2006. Section 1(1) inserted section 24A of the Water Resources Act 1991. Section 2 - Restrictions on impounding This section came into force on 1 April 2006. Section 2(2) substituted new sections 25(1) and (1A) for section 25(1) of the Water Resources Act 1991. Section 2(5) inserted section 25(9) of the Water Resources Act 1991. Section 2(7) substituted section 64(1)(b) of the Water Resources Act 1991. Short Title

Postal Services Act 2011
The Postal Services Act 2011 is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The Act enabled the British Government to sell shares in Royal Mail to private investors and includes the possible mutualisation of the Post Office. The Act allows private buyers to own up to 90% of Royal Mail, with Royal Mail staff being offered at least 10% of the shares of the company. It enabled the Post Office business to be separated from Royal Mail, to allow it to remain in government ownership or to be mutualised. It provided for the government to take over the assets and liabilities of the Royal Mail pension scheme, which had a considerable deficit. It allowed for the transfer of regulatory responsibility from Postcomm to the communications regulator Ofcom. Natural Environment And Rural Communities Act 2006
The Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006 (c 16), also referred to as the NERC Act (2006), is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. In a reorganisation of public bodies involved in rural policy and delivery, the measures dissolved English Nature, the Countryside Agency and the Rural Development Service, and established Natural England. Chapter 1 Chapter 1 (sections 1–16) deals with the establishment and role of Natural England. English Nature and the Countryside Agency are dissolved, and most of their powers transferred to the new agency. Chapter 2 Chapter 2 (sections 17–25) establishes as a public body the Commission for Rural Communities, which had been created in 2005 as a division of the Countryside Agency.
