Washiya Mohamed
Washiya Mohamed (born 18 June 1999) is a Maldivian film actress. She made her career debut by playing one of the main roles in the sitcom web series, ''Thin Bibee'' (2019). She gained notice with the web series ''Ehenas'' and continued starring in several other notable performances including the role of a domestically abused girlfriend in ''Huvaa Kohfa Bunan'' (2020), rape victim in ''Mazloom (web series), Mazloom'' (2021), a politician's daughter in ''Dharaka'' (2022) and an vengeful mother in ''Mirai (web series), Mirai'' (2023). She received international recognition with the film ''Hehes'' (2022), where her role as an obsessed girlfriend fetched her the Best Supporting Actress Award at Karnataka International Film Festival. Ilyas Waheed is a Maldivian film director, producer, screenwriter and editor Early life Inspired by his father's patriotism, Waheed inclined to pursue a career as an army officer. However, while studying in grade three, he was bedridden for three months due to a leg fracture, which led him to watch numerous movies, and ultimately changing his passion from military defense to film making and visual arts. After completing his GCE Ordinary Level education from Majeediyya School, Waheed joined Maldives National Defence Force to complete his bond term. Ahmed Nimal is a Maldivian actor, director, editor, writer and producer. Early life Prior to acting in films, Nimal worked at Maldives Meteorological Service office. His interest in films and acting grew due to the influence of his colleagues including Easa Shareef and other friends who actively take part in theatre plays. Career Nimal made his career debut with ''Nufoozu'' (1984), an initiation by Shareef and his colleagues.
