Loabi Vevijje
''Loabi Vevijje'' is a 2023 Maldivian romantic film directed by Ali Seezan. Produced by Shaniz Ali and Aminath Shanaaz under S Production, the film stars Ahmed Nimal, Ali Seezan, Aminath Rishfa, Mariyam Azza, Ahmed Easa, Ali Azim and Irufana Ibrahim in pivotal roles. The film centers on a man who ends up becoming obsessed with a woman he has a one night stand with. The film was released on 3 May 2023. Plot The film follows a middle-aged man, Tholal (Ali Seezan) who lives an ordinary life with his devoted wife, Hasna (Mariyam Azza) and their kid. Ali Seezan
Ali Seezan (born 6 February 1977) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, director and producer. He has established a career in Maldives Film Industry and is a recipient of two National Film Awards. Early life Ali Seezan was born on 6 February 1977. His parents Fathimath Waheeda and Abdul Rasheed are not active members of the film industry, though his father has worked in arranging stage shows for many events. He completed his studies at Madhrasathul Ameer Ahmed and Majeediyya School. He is a nephew of Maldivian actor and politician Reeko Moosa Manik. Rafiyath Rameeza (23 March 1976) is a Maldivian singer. Early life Rafiyath Rameeza was born and raised in the "Rameez family" where several artists including Ali Rameez and Ibrahim Rameez were brought up and "ruled" the music industry. At the age of 12, while studying at Aminiya School, she competed in the Television Maldives Interschool Singing Competition and continued to participate in the same competition for more years. Mohamed Abdul Ghanee (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Theyravaa is a Maldivian singer and songwriter. Early life and career Born to a musical family, Ghanee had no interest in music even when his siblings spend their time in jamming and singing. While studying at Madhrasathul Ifthithaah, he participated in the Inter-house singing competition, on a request by his elder brother. His performance was well noted by judges and received several prizes. The success was followed by his next performance, the song "Theyravaa" which caught the attention of a member from the local music band Zero Degree Atoll, who insisted him to perform a different version of the song in the ''Fannaanunge Muzikee Eid Show'' (1992). Easa Shareef is a Maldivian film director, actor, screen-writer, editor and lyricist. Abdul Hannan Moosa Didi (13 June 1959) is a Maldivian singer, music composer and producer. Early life and career At the age of seventeen, Didi started performing casually with his friends which helped him develop self-confidence and improve his singing capabilities. In 1977, he was offered a stage performance in a tourist resort to celebrate one of their occasions, which resulted in him getting several offers. Aishath Rishmy Rameez (born 15 November 1985) is a Maldivian actress film producer and director. Early life Born in Malé, Maldives, Rishmy is the daughter of actor Aminath Rasheedha. She is the elder sister of actress Mariyam Azza. They reside in Vilingili since the early days when the island was made a satellite town of Male.
