Warpaint (The Black Crowes Album)
''Warpaint'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band The Black Crowes. Released on March 3, 2008, it was the band's seventh studio album and first studio album in almost seven years, and its first with new members Luther Dickinson and Adam MacDougall, as well as the first to be released on the band's own Silver Arrow Records label. Despite its predecessor, ''Lions'', selling more copies, ''Warpaint'' debuted 15 spots higher in the United States, at number five. Writing and production Following the departures of Marc Ford and Eddie Harsch in September 2006, The Black Crowes enlisted Paul Stacey and Rob Clores to handle lead guitar and keyboard duties, respectively. The Black Crowes
The Black Crowes are an American rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1984. Their discography includes eight studio albums, four live albums and several charting singles. The band was signed to Def American Recordings in 1989 by producer George Drakoulias and released their debut album, '' Shake Your Money Maker'', the following year. Their follow-up, '' The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion'', reached the top of the ''Billboard'' 200 in 1992. Rich Robinson
Richard Spencer Robinson (born May 24, 1969) is an American musician and founding member of the rock and roll band the Black Crowes. Along with older brother Chris Robinson, Rich formed the band in 1984 (originally called ''Mr. Crowes Garden'') while the two were attending Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia. Chris Robinson (singer)
Christopher Mark Robinson (born December 20, 1966) is an American musician. He founded the rock band The Black Crowes (then known as Mr. Crowe's Garden) with his brother Rich Robinson in 1984. Chris is the lead singer of The Black Crowes, and he and his brother are the only continuous members of the Crowes. He is the vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, which was formed in 2011 while the Black Crowes were on hiatus. North Mississippi Allstars is an American blues and southern rock band from Hernando, Mississippi, founded in 1996. Eddie Harsch
Eddie Harsch (born Edward Hawrysch; May 27, 1957 – November 4, 2016) was a Canadian keyboardist and member of Detroit-based jam band Bulldog. Previous to that he was The Black Crowes' keyboardist from 1991 to 2006. Harsch was replaced on keyboards by Rob Clores and then Adam MacDougall. Harsch first joined Bulldog during The Black Crowes' hiatus, which lasted from early 2002 to early 2005. During that time, he also played bass in the Detroit Cobras. In the 1980s, Harsch was a member of James Cotton's band. Luther Andrews Dickinson (born January 18, 1973) is the lead guitarist and vocalist for the North Mississippi Allstars and the son of record producer Jim Dickinson.
