Wang Rong (Jin Dynasty)
Wang Rong (234–305), courtesy name Junchong (濬冲), nickname A Rong (阿戎) was a Chinese military general, poet, and politician of the Western Jin dynasty. He was also one of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove. Life Wang Rong served under the Jin dynasty as a military general and participated in the conquest of the Jin dynasty's rival state, Eastern Wu in 280. During the campaign, he led his troops as far as to that of Wuchang (武昌; present day Ezhou, Hubei). Following this, Wang Rong's army merged with Wang Jun's and they advanced towards the Wu capital, Jianye. Wang Rong (warlord)
Wang Rong (; c. 877?''Old Book of Tang'', vol. 142.''New Book of Tang'', vol. 211.'' History of the Five Dynasties'', vol. 54.''New History of the Five Dynasties'', vol. 54.''Zizhi Tongjian'', vol. 255.–921''Zizhi Tongjian'', vol. 271.), was a warlord in the final years of the Tang dynasty who later became the only ruler of the state of Zhao during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. Late in Tang, he initially tried to chart an independent course between the more powerful warlords Zhu Quanzhong and Li Keyong, but later was forced to become Zhu's vassal, although he continued to govern his domain without much interference from Zhu. After Zhu declared himself the emperor of a new dynasty of Later Liang (as Emperor Taizu), Wang continued to serve as a vassal and was created the Prince of Zhao. Wang Rong (politician)
Wang Rong (; born April 1958) is a Chinese politician who has served in prominent regional posts in Jiangsu and Guangdong provinces. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Guangdong People's Political Consultative Conference, a mostly ceremonial political advisory body. Wang spent much of his career in his native Jiangsu province. He has an academic background in the field of agriculture. He served successively as the Communist Party Secretary of the cities of Wuxi and Suzhou in Jiangsu, before being transferred in 2010 to serve as acting mayor, then Party Secretary of Shenzhen, a position he served in until 2015. Wang was an alternate member of the 17th and 18th Central Committees of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Wang Rong (, born 18 April 1984 in Jiangsu) is a Chinese female badminton player and in 2010 she started representing Macau. Career In 2000, she won silver medal at the World Junior Championships in girls' singles event. In 2001, she became the runner-up of the Chinese National Badminton Championships in women's singles event. In 2002, she became the runner-up of the French Open tournament in women's singles event. In 2004, she became the women's singles champion of the Chinese National Badminton Championships. In 2009, she became the runner-up of the Thailand Open tournament after defeated by her compatriot Liu Jian. In 2010, she qualified to representing Macau at the Asian Games. However, in accordance with the competition rules, players must be three years after they last competed for their country of origin before they will be able to represent the country, so her entry qualification was canceled, the Macau team also decided to withdrew from the competition.
