Wang Jianan (long Jumper)
Wang Jianan (; born 27 August 1996) is a Chinese track and field athlete who competes in the long jump. He competed in a heptathlon and a decathlon in 2012 but showed his aptitude for the long jump by winning at the Chinese Athletics Championships. One month after turning sixteen he jumped a personal best of 8.04 m to claim the national title. He quickly rose to the top of the regional scene with a gold medal win at the 2013 Asian Athletics Championships. In 2018, Wang won the gold medal in long jump at the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia. On 16 June 2018, he equalled the national record in Guiyang with his personal best of 8.47 m. In 2022, he became world champion in long jump. 2014 World Junior Championships In Athletics
The 2014 World Junior Championships in Athletics was an international athletics competition for athletes qualifying as juniors (born 1995 or later) which was held at the Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, USA, on 22–27 July 2014. A total of 44 athletics events were contested at the championships, 22 by male and 22 by female athletes. A total of 1546 athletes from 175 countries were participate. Decathlon
The decathlon is a combined event in Athletics (sport), athletics consisting of ten track and field events. The word "decathlon" was formed, in analogy to the word "pentathlon", from Greek language, Greek δέκα (''déka'', meaning "ten") and ἄθλος (''áthlos'', or ἄθλον, ''áthlon'', meaning "contest" or “prize”). Track And Field At The 2019 Military World Games
The track and field competition at the 2019 Military World Games was held from 22 to 27 October 2019 at the Wuhan Five Rings Sports Center in Wuhan, China. A total of 45 athletics events were contested, 24 by men and 21 by women. Women did not compete in pole vault, 50 kilometres race walk or the 10,000 metres. Marathon events were staged on the East Lake Greenway.
