Wang Chen (volleyball)
Wang Chen (; born November 16, 1987 in Shanxi) is a male Chinese volleyball player. He was one of the member of China men's national volleyball team in 2012. On club level he plays for Beijing Baic Motor. Career As the substitute of the old opposite spiker, Sun Quan, Wang participated in Chinese Volleyball League from 2009 to 2011. Later, Wang became the main opposite spiker and helped Beijing Baic Motor get three champions including two leagues (Season 12/13 and Season 13/14) and the senior event of 2013 National Games of China. He joined Vero Volley Monza in Season 2014/2015 though he only gets 60 scores in 40 sets. In 2012, Wang participated in 2012 AVC Cup, as the substitute player of Dai Qingyao. Before 2016 Summer Olympics, Wang is the accompany trainer of China women's national volleyball team in order to copy Euramerican female opposite spikers. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. Chinese Volleyball League
Chinese Volleyball Super League, often abbreviated to CVL (abbreviation remain unchanged), are the pre-eminent men's and women's professional volleyball leagues in China. It was founded in 1996 as the Chinese Volleyball League and is organized by the Chinese Volleyball Association (CVA), operating with China National Sports Group (CNSG). The league was rebranded to the Chinese Volleyball Super League when it became fully professional in 2017. The champions qualify for the Asian Men's and Women's Club Volleyball Championships. The women's league normally starts in November and ends in March of the following year, while the men's league starts in October and ends in February of the following year, lasting for about four months. The league is divided into four stages: the first two stages normally called the "Regular Season", and the last two stages called the "Playoffs". The China women's national volleyball team () represents the People's Republic of China in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches governed by Chinese Volleyball Association. They are one of the leading and most successful squads in women's international volleyball, having won ten championships titles in the three major international competitions of volleyball, including five World Cups (1981, 1985, 2003, 2015, 2019), two World Championships (1982, 1986) and three Olympic titles (1984, 2004, 2016). 2013 National Games Of China
The 12th National Games of China were held in the northeastern province of Liaoning from 31 August to 12 September 2013. Liaoning was the sixth provincial level host of the games, following Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shandong. A total of 350 events in 31 sports were held at the games.
