Wanderson Gustavo da Silva, known as Wanderson Cafu or just Cafu (born 18 March 1986) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Campinense. Biography Born in José Bonifácio, São Paulo, Cafu started his professional career for Figueirense. In July 2006 he was signed by Sport Club Brusquense in 1-year contract, which played in 2006 ''Divisão de Acesso'' of Santa Catarina state championship. José Bonifácio is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The population is of 37,366 inhabitants and the area is 859.94 km2. The city belongs to the Microregion of São José do Rio Preto. In 2010, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, the second level of the Brazilian League, was contested by 20 clubs from May 7 to November 27, 2010. The top four teams in the table, former Brazilian Série A champions Coritiba and Bahia alongside Figueirense and América (MG), were promoted to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A to be contested in 2011, meanwhile the bottom four were relegated to Série C next season. In 2009, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, the third level of the Brazilian League, was contested by 20 clubs from May 24 to September 19, 2009. In an attempt to increase profits and interest on the competition, CBF decided to reduce the number of participating teams from 64 to 20 this season and establish regular membership, akin to Série A and Série B. Campeonato Paulista Série A3 (also referred to as Paulistão A3 for short) is the third level of the São Paulo state professional football championship, one of the Brazilian state championships. The tournament has been known as Série A3 since the 1993-94 season. Structure The current format of the Paulistão A3 was introduced in 2018, after the number of teams was decreased from 20 to 16. In 2008, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, the third division of the Brazilian League, was contested by 64 clubs, four of which qualified to the Série B. For the second time in history, Atlético Goianiense were crowned Série C champions. Following them, former Série A champions Guarani were also promoted, along with Campinense and Duque de Caxias.
