Dato' Wan Aishah binti Wan Ariffin ( Jawi: وان عائشة بنت وان عارفين; born 3 January 1965), known mononymously as Aishah, is a singer, actress, and politician from Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Music career Aishah first achieved stardom in New Zealand when her first album with her band Aishah and The Fan Club, Sensation, has raised its name as Malaysia's first successful female singer to the international stage and has even had an entry into the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the song "Don't Let Me Fall Alone" in 1990. She joined the pop rock band while she was studying in New Zealand in the 1980s. After she was no longer with the Fan Club, Aishah returned to Malaysia while she was singing solo so she was appointed as one of the country's pop legendaries with a row of hit songs and best-selling albums. The National Front ( ms, Barisan Nasional; abbrev: BN) is a political coalition of Malaysia that was founded in 1973 as a coalition of centre-right and right-wing political parties. It is also the third largest political coalition with 30 seats in the Dewan Rakyat after coalition Pakatan Harapan with 82 seats and the coalition Perikatan Nasional with 73 seats. 2013 Malaysian General Election
General elections were held in Malaysia on Sunday, 5 May 2013 to elect the members of the 13th Parliament. Voting took place in all 222 parliamentary constituencies, each electing one MP to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. State elections also took place in 505 state constituencies in 12 of the 13 states (excluding Sarawak) on the same day. The elections were the first since Najib Razak became Prime Minister in 2009. The incumbent right-wing Barisan Nasional led by Najib won a second term against the opposition centre-left Pakatan Rakyat led by Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, after Barisan Nasional formed a majority government at a federal level. Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. Don't Let Me Fall Alone
Aishah and The Fan Club, better known as The Fan Club or just Fan Club, were a New Zealand-based singing group in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group released their first album ''Sensation'' in 1988, which spawned three top-20 singles in the New Zealand and Malaysian charts, "Sensation", "Paradise" and "Call Me" – the latter being a remake of a Spagna song of the same name. Their second album, titled '' Respect the Beat'', also produced three hit singles, including "I Feel Love" and "I Never Gave Up on You", and the band's only single to make the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 Charts – "Don't Let Me Fall Alone". Negeri Sembilan (, Negeri Sembilan Malay: ''Nogoghi Sombilan'', ''Nismilan'') is a state in Malaysia which lies on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
