Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Lawrence Tyndall "Taffy" Walwyn (1883–1959) was a British Army officer of the First World War who received the Military Cross. His son was the race horse trainer Peter Walwyn. Walwyn was commissioned into the Carmarthen Artilley Militia in June 1901, and transferred to the regular army as a second lieutenant in the Royal Artillery on 24 December 1902. John Walwyn (by 1520 – 1566 or later), of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, was an English politician. Family John Walwyn was the eldest son of Edmund Walwyn of Thornborough, Buckinghamshire and his wife Anne née Green, daughter of Thomas Green of Greens-Norton, Northamptonshire. Walwyn married three times. His first wife was Alice née Falkener, daughter of William Falkener of Quarrendon, Buckinghamshire. They had three sons and two daughters. His second wife was Joan née Hokeley, daughter of John Hokeley of Bromwich, Staffordshire, and they had three sons. His third wife was Joan née Cook, daughter of Robert Cook of Tandridge, Surrey, by whom he had two sons and one daughter. Kenford Keith Ian Walwyn (17 February 1956 – 15 April 2003), more commonly known as Keith Walwyn, was a Kittitian footballer who played as a striker. Career Born in Nevis, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Walwyn had trials for Barnsley and Preston North End before playing for Guiseley from 1977 to 1978. Following a trial with Bradford City he joined Winterton Rangers in 1979 before signing for Chesterfield in November 1979 for a fee of £5,000. He appeared only three times for the club's first team, scoring two goals, despite being a regular scorer in the reserve team. He was signed by York City for a fee of £4,000 in July 1981. During his time with the club, Walwyn played 291 games and scored 140 goals (119 in the league), becoming the club's second all-time top scorer behind Norman Wilkinson. Myron Walwyn
Myron Walwyn (born February 22, 1972) is the former Minister of Education and Culture and a Territorial At-Large Representative of the British Virgin Islands. He was elected as an "at-large" representative in the 2011 British Virgin Islands general election, garnering 4,605 votes, the 2nd highest number of votes in the election. He is a member of the National Democratic Party (British Virgin Islands). Prior to election, he was appointed the Chairman of the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board. On 23 June 2018, after Premier Orlando Smith announced he was stepping down, Walwyn was elected as the new President of the National Democratic Party, although Orlando Smith remained Premier. Stephen Martin Walwyn (born 8 June 1956 in Southam, Warwickshire) is an English rhythm and blues guitarist, best known for his playing with Dr. Feelgood, but who has also played with Eddie and the Hot Rods, Steve Marriott and the DTs, the Roger Chapman Band, the Big Town Playboys and his own band Steve Walwyn and Friends. Steve Walwyn (after 32 years in Dr Feelgood) then joined up with Horace Panter (42 years in The Specials) and Ted Duggan from Badfinger, The Beat and The Selecter in The Dirt Road Band, touring from 5th March 2022.
