Walter Habersatter
Walter Habersatter (14 March 1930 in Radstadt – 30 May 2018 in Radstadt) was an Austrian ski jumper who competed from 1955 to 1971. His biggest success is the second place in the general classification 7th Four Hills Tournament (11th place in Oberstdorf , 10th in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 5th place in Innsbruck and 1st place in Bischofshofen). Habersatter also finished 15th in the ski jumping event at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Radstadt (Central Bavarian: ''Rodstoud'' or ''Rodstod'') is a historic town in the district of St. Johann im Pongau in the Austrian state of Salzburg. Geography The town is part of the Salzburg Pongau region. A ski is a narrow strip of semi-rigid material worn underfoot to glide over snow. Olympische Winterspiele, french: XIIes Jeux olympiques d'hiver) and commonly known as Innsbruck 1976 ( bar, Innschbruck 1976, label=Austro-Bavarian), was a winter multi-sport event celebrated in Innsbruck, Austria, from February 4 to 15, 1976. Brigitte Totschnig
Brigitte Totschnig (later ''Habersatter'', born 30 August 1954) is a retired Austrian alpine skiing, alpine skier. Career She competed at the 1972 and 1976 Winter Olympics and won a silver medal in the downhill in 1976. Totschnig finished seventh in the downhill at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1978. Between 1975 and 1977 she had seven victories and 13 podiums at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, World Cup, 11 of them in downhill; her best overall placement was fourth in the 1976–77 season. She retired after the 1977–1978 season, in which she won national titles in the downhill and combined. In 1978 she built the Aparthotel Olympia in Filzmoos and ran it since then. Totschnig was named Austrian Sports Personality of the Year, Austrian Sportswoman of the Year in 1976 and in 1996 was awarded a silver medal for services to Austria.
