Wallenberg (artist)
Petter Wallenberg (born 1977 in Stockholm) is a multi-awarded Swedish artist, author, director and human rights advocate. He is the founding director of Bland drakar och dragqueens (Amongst dragons and drag queens), a multi-awarded theatre production where famous drag queens perform stories to children. Petter is also the founding director of Rainbow Riots, an award winning non-profit organisation that uses arts and culture to advocate for human rights for LGBT people globally. He has composed and produced several critically acclaimed music albums and in 2013 book "Historien om Leila K" (The Story of Leila K) was released in Sweden. Vogue (dance)
Vogue, or voguing, is a highly stylized, modern house dance originating in the late 1980s that evolved out of the Harlem ballroom scene of the 1960s. The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra ( sv, Kungliga Filharmonikerna or , literal translations, "Royal Philharmonic" or "Royal Philharmonic Orchestra") is a Swedish orchestra based in Stockholm. Its principal venue is the Konserthuset. History The orchestra was founded in 1902 as the Stockholm Concert Society Orchestra (''Stockholms konsertförenings orkester''). Midi, Maxi & Efti
Midi, Maxi & Efti was a Swedish musical group with African influences from the early 1990s. Their two biggest hits were "Bad Bad Boys" and "Ragga Steady". The band consisted of the two twin sisters Midi and Maxi Berhanu and their friend Freweyni "Efti" Teclehaimanot, all of them born in 1976. Midi and Maxi were refugees from Ethiopia and came to Sweden with their parents in 1985. Efti was born in a refugee camp in Eritrea and also arrived in Sweden in 1985. The three girls met in the Stockholm suburb of Akalla. Their self-titled album was released in 1991 and spawned three singles, "Bad Bad Boys" (#11 in SWE, #98 US) "Ragga Steady" (#22 in SWE) and " Masenko" (#39 in SWE). Laila El Khalifi ( ar, ليلى الخليفي; born 6 September 1971) better known by her stage name Leila K, is a Swedish Eurodance singer and rapper of Moroccan descent. Early life El Khalifi's parents decided to send her to a school in Morocco, but she did not fit into the system so after one year she returned to Sweden. Musical career Leila was discovered by the musical duo Rob'n'Raz when singing in a music contest. They liked her music and offered her a recording contract in 1988.
