Matthew Walter "Matt" Wachter (born January 5, 1976) is an American musician best known for playing bass in the alternative rock bands Thirty Seconds to Mars and Angels & Airwaves. Biography Wachter was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. As a child, he spent most of his time with his family in New Jersey and Boston. An active child, he participated in baseball and soccer, taking up swimming as well, he also went to United States Space Camp, along with Space Academy. His interest in music bloomed when he was around five years old, and between the ages of five and eight, he experimented with various instruments, focusing primarily on the piano and drums. Michael Wachter (born 1943) is the William B. and Mary Barb Johnson Professor of Law and Economics Emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and Co-Director of the Institute for Law & Economics. Marcia De Wachter (born Wilrijk, 9 October 1953) is a Belgian economist who is a Director of the National Bank of Belgium (NBB). Frank Charles Wachter
Frank Charles Wachter (September 16, 1861 – July 1, 1910) was an American politician and Congressman from Maryland. Biography Born in Baltimore, Maryland to German immigrants, Wachter attended private schools and St. Paul's Evangelical School at Baltimore. He learned the trade of cloth cutting and in 1892 engaged in the cloth-shrinking business. He served as a member of the jail board of Baltimore from 1896 to 1898, and was an unsuccessful candidate for police commissioner of Baltimore in 1898. Wachter was elected as a Republican to the Fifty-sixth and to the three succeeding Congresses, serving from March 4, 1899 to March 3, 1907. He was not a candidate for renomination in 1906, and resumed his former business pursuits in Baltimore.
