Wa Secondary Technical School
Wa Senior High Technical School is a coeducational second cycle institution at Wa in the Upper West Region of Ghana. The school which was formerly called Wa Secondary Technical, houses both day (non-boarding) and boarding students at its premises and is precisely located at Konta opposite the Ghana Water Company. History The school was established as a community middle day school in the 1950s. Progressively, the school became a junior secondary school in 1978 and later transformed into a community secondary technical school in 1982. It was formally commissioned as a community day secondary technical school on 30 March 1983. With the enactment of the educational reforms in 2004 the school became known as Wa Senior High Technical School. Wa, Ghana
Wa is a town and the capital of Wa Municipal District and the Upper West Region of northern Ghana. Wa had a 2012 settlement population of 102,446. Kwesi Nyantakyi
Kwesi Nyantakyi is a Ghanaian banker, lawyer and former football administrator. He was the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) from 30 December 2005 until 7 June 2018. Nyantakyi officially resigned a day later. However, four hours to the release of his resignation letter FIFA had issued a statement announcing his ban from all football related activities for a period of 90 days pending investigations. Circumstances surrounding his resignation include a video released by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in which Nyantakyi was found taking a bribe and purporting to have the ability to "take over the whole country". Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi is a Ghanaian judge. He is an active Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He was nominated and appointed a Supreme Court judge in 2020. Early life and education Kulendi was born on 29 November 1963. He hails from Issa, a village in the Upper West Region of Ghana. Upper West Region
The Upper West Region of Ghana is located in the north-western corner of Ghana and is bordered by Upper East region to the east, Northern region to the south, and Burkina Faso to the west and north.
