Clyde Township is a civil township of Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,084 at the 2010 census. History Clyde Township was established in 1859. Communities Bravo began around a sawmill started by Ezra L. Davis and Alonzo Sherman in 1867. Clyde Centre began around a sawmill in 1872. It had a post office from 1873 to 1877.
