Effective radiated power (ERP), synonymous with equivalent radiated power, is an IEEE standardized definition of directional radio frequency (RF) power, such as that emitted by a radio transmitter. New Scotland is a town in Albany County, New York, United States. The population was 8,648 at the 2010 census. The town is southwest of Albany, New York, the state capital.
