Vroom Vroom (TV Series)
''Vroom Vroom'' is a British television series shown on Sky One. The presenters were Brendan Coogan (''Men and Motors''), Jon Desborough ( Sky News Sportsline), Lisa Rogers (''Scrapheap Challenge''), and Emma Parker Bowles ( ''The Sun'''s motoring columnist). Each show ran for one hour, and featured a varied mix of segments, from test drives to banger racing and tips for buying and selling cars. Each episode included a regular strand presented by Emma Parker Bowles who turns her hand to banger, lawn mower and mini-auto grass racing. Brendan Coogan
Brendan Coogan (born 17 July 1970) is a British television and radio presenter, from Middleton, Greater Manchester. In January 1999, Coogan briefly presented the BBC TV motoring programme ''Top Gear'', following the departure of former host Jeremy Clarkson, but left after a few months, following a drunk driving conviction. Between 1999 and 2001, he was a presenter on Radio 5 Live. From 2003 to 2004, he was a regular face on Granada Television in north-west England. In 2004, he won a Royal Television Society award for Best Presenter. Two of his brothers are comedian Steve Coogan and former singer of the Mock Turtles, Martin Coogan. The Vauxhall Astra is a compact car/small family car (C-segment) that has been sold by Vauxhall since 1980. It is currently produced at Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, England. Santa Pod Raceway, located in Podington, Bedfordshire, England, is Europe's first permanent drag racing venue for 1/4 and 1/8 mile racing. It was built on a disused World War II, Second World War air base, (RAF Podington), once used by the USAAF's 92nd Operations Group#World War II, 92nd Bomb Group. The Audi Q7 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV made by the German manufacturer Audi, unveiled in September 2005 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Duncan Montgomery Gray Jr. (September 21, 1926 – July 15, 2016) was the 7th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi, a diocese of the Episcopal Church. Gray's father, Duncan M. Gray Sr., and his son, Duncan Montgomery Gray III, are respectively the fifth and ninth Bishops of the Diocese of Mississippi. Bruno Senna Lalli (, born 15 October 1983) is a Brazilian professional racing driver. He is the nephew of the late Ayrton Senna, three-time Formula One world champion. He is also the first man to win a race in every WEC class, and was the 2017 WEC world champion for the LMP2 class. Bruno Senna raced in Formula One from 2010 to 2012. Lisa Rogers (born 7 September 1971) is a Welsh television presenter. She has appeared in films, television programmes, theatre and radio. Banger Racing
Banger racing is a tarmac, dirt, shale and chalk track type of motorsport event popular in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. Vehicles are raced against one another, with the winner being the first to the checkered flag after a set number of laps. Contact to damage an opponent's car is permitted and encouraged within the formula, with cars progressively becoming more damaged throughout an event. Races are held at an oval or tri-oval circuits that are up to long; however, on certain occasions, races are held in a figure of eight configurations.
