''Vorunah'' is the debut album by Norwegian black/thrash metal band Sarke. It was released on 6 April 2009 via Indie Recordings. History In 2008, Thomas "Sarke" Bergli, drummer for Khold, decided to form a solo project. Sarke contacted Darkthrone vocalist/guitarist Ted "Nocturno Culto" Skjellum, and in November of the same year they entered the studio and recorded ''Vorunah''. In February 2009, it was announced that Sarke signed with Norwegian record label Indie Recordings. Sarke
Sarke is a Norwegian metal band from Oslo, formed in 2008. The band has released seven studio albums and is currently signed to Norwegian record label Indie Recordings. History Sarke formed in 2008 when Thomas "Sarke" Bergli (Khold, Tulus) decided to make a solo album. In November 2008, Sarke recorded the tracks for the album with keyboardist Anders Hunstad, produced by Lars-Erik Westby. ''Oldarhian'' is the second album by Norwegian black/thrash metal band Sarke. It was released 15 April 2011 via Indie Recordings. History On 18 October 2010, Sarke, this time with a full line-up, entered the studio, always with producer Lars-Erik Westby. On February 2011, it was announced that the new album, titled ''Oldarhian'', would be released on 15 April 2011. Nocturno Culto
Ted Skjellum (born 4 March 1972), also known by the stage name Nocturno Culto, is a Norwegian musician best known as the vocalist, lead guitarist, and partial bassist (shared with Fenriz) of the influential black metal band Darkthrone. He has been with the band since 1988. He is also the vocalist of the band Sarke, and has a solo project called Gift of Gods. He currently works in Norway as a school teacher, and has a son and a daughter. He has also released a documentary film called ''The Misanthrope'' in which he deals with black metal music and life in Norway. Oslo

Khold
Khold is a Norwegian black metal band formed in Oslo in 2000 after the split-up of Tulus. The band plays mid-paced black metal. History Khold was formed in Oslo in 2000. A demo was recorded in late 2000, which caused Khold to be signed by Moonfog. The first Khold album, ''Masterpiss of Pain'', was released in 2001. Later in the year, Khold went touring in Europe to support the album. Khold's second album, ''Phantom'', was released in 2002. Darkthrone
Darkthrone is a Norwegian extreme metal band from Kolbotn, Akershus. Formed in 1986 as a death metal band named Black Death, in 1991 Darkthrone embraced a black metal style influenced by Bathory and Celtic Frost and became one of the leading bands in the Norwegian black metal scene. Their first three black metal albums—''A Blaze in the Northern Sky'' (1992), ''Under a Funeral Moon'' (1993) and ''Transilvanian Hunger'' (1994)—are sometimes dubbed the "Unholy Trinity".
