Volkan Arslan
Volkan Arslan (born 29 August 1978) is a Turkish football coach and former player. Arslan played for Turkey at the U-16, U-17 and U-18 levels before he made his debut for the senior team in 2003. Club career Arslan began his career with local club Hannover 96. After making 36 league appearances for the club, Arslan was transferred to Rot-Weiss Essen. Adanaspor brought Arslan to the club in 2000. He joined Kocaelispor in 2002, spending six months with the club before moving to Galatasaray on 31 January 2003. After leaving Galatsaray, Arslan played for Ankaraspor, Gaziantepspor, Antalyaspor and MKE Ankaragücü. On 19 August 2011, he signed for Bozüyükspor. International career Arslan has made eleven appearances for the Turkey national football team, including participating at the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup. Hanover

FIFA Confederations Cup
The FIFA Confederations Cup was an international association football tournament for men's national teams, held every four years by FIFA. It was contested by the holders of each of the six continental championships ( AFC, CAF, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, OFC, and UEFA), along with the current FIFA World Cup holder and the host nation, to bring the number of teams up to eight. Between 2001 and 2017 (with an exception in 2003), the tournament was held in the country that would host the World Cup the following year, acting as a test event for the larger tournament. 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup
The 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup football tournament was the sixth FIFA Confederations Cup, held in France in June 2003. France retained the title they had won in 2001, but the tournament was overshadowed by the death of Cameroon player Marc-Vivien Foé, who died of heart failure in his side's semi-final against Colombia. Foé's death united the France and Cameroon teams in the final match, which was played even though team players from both sides had explicitly stated that the match should not be played out of respect for Foé. France went on to win the trophy with a golden goal from Thierry Henry. Bayrampaşa SK is a Turkish professional football club located in the Bayrampaşa district of Istanbul. They currently play in the TFF Third League, the fourth tier of Turkish football. History In 1942 the club was founded as Sağmalcılar Youth Sports Club, in 1959 the name was changed to Bayrampaşa Youth Sports Club. The club has spent the majority of its history in the third division, between 1984 and 1994, before being relegated to the amateur divisions. In 2009, after 16 years, they returned to the fourth tier of Turkish football.
