Vikingarnas FK
Vikingarnas FK was a Swedish football club which was founded in 1908. The team was made up of the best players from IFK Stockholm and IFK Uppsala as well as some other IFK clubs, and also other clubs during matches in Svenska Serien. Vikingarnas FK played two matches in 1908, five matches in 1909, and before the league start of Svenska Serien in 1910, the club played seven matches, of which four were played during a tour to the Netherlands. The club played its matches in Stockholm. They finished 6th in the first season of Svenska Serien, and withdrew after having played only one match in 1911–12, the second season, due to a new rule that stated that a team may only have players from one club. The clubs that provided players for Vikingarnas FK continued to play in other competitions during the seasons, and Vikingarna never played in any other competition than the 1910 and 1911–12 seasons of Svenska Serien. Solna Municipality ( sv, Solna kommun or , ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in Sweden, located just north of Stockholm City Centre. IFK Stockholm is multi-sports club in Stockholm, Sweden. It is most known for its football team. Background The club was formed 1 February 1895 as IF Kamraterna (IFK) by two young students, Louis Zettersten and Pehr Ehnemark, and was the first IFK club. 1911–12 Svenska Serien
Svenska Serien 1911–12, part of the 1911–12 Swedish football season, was the second Svenska Serien season played. Örgryte IS won the league ahead of runners-up Djurgårdens IF, while Göteborgs FF, Mariebergs IK, Vikingarnas FK and IFK Eskilstuna were relegated. Issues The league season suffered from a large number of issues. Göteborgs FF and Mariebergs IK replaced IFK Eskilstuna and Vikingarnas FK which both withdrew after only one round, their two match results are not included in the table of the other teams. Mariebergs IK then withdrew after six matches, but were allowed back in again after a while. The league was finally abandoned due to trouble finding days to play the remaining matches as the national team prepared for the 1912 Olympic football tournament by playing test matches, however the incomplete table is considered the final table.
