Vijay Vikram
''Vijay Vikram'' (Kannada: ವಿಜಯ್ ವಿಕ್ರಮ್) is a 1979 Indian Kannada film, directed by V. Somashekhar and produced by A. R. Raju. The film stars Vishnuvardhan, Jayanthi, Deepa and Pramila Joshai in the lead roles. The film has musical score by Chellapilla Satyam. Plot Vikram is a landlord who rapes Jayanthi, who is the daughter of his estate manager. Jayanthi gets pregnant and gives birth to a son who grows up to be Vijay. Jayanti uses her son to take revenge on Vikram. Towards the end Vikram learns that Vijay is his own son and regrets his past deeds. But other baddies create problems for the family. Sampath Kumar (18 September 1950 – 30 December 2009), known by his stage name Vishnuvardhan, was an Indian actor predominantly in Kannada cinema. He is regarded as one of the popular cultural icon of Karnataka. Vishnuvardhan is often referred to as ''Sahasa Simha'' and ''The Angry Young Man of Kannada Cinema.'' Leelavathi (born Leela Kiran) is an Indian actress who worked in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films. She has acted in more than 600 films (more than 400 in Kannada alone) throughout her career for more than 50 years. Musuri Krishnamurthy
Musuri Krishnamurthy (10 March 1930 – 16 March 1985) was an Indian actor, film director, producer, working in Kannada cinema. He was known mostly for his roles as a comedian. Early life Krishnamurthy was born on 10 March 1930 to B. S. Vishweshwaraiah and Subbamma. His father, Vishweshwaraiah was a zamindar in Bettadapura, Mysore. As a young boy, Krishnamurthy was drawn towards singing and acting. He exhibited his singing talent during a Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in front of carnatic vocalist Musiri Subramania Iyer and the then Maharaja of Mysore, Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV. Mysore Srinivas (17 April 1943 – 16 October 1995), known by his stage name Thoogudeepa Srinivas was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films and is remembered for his portrayal of negative-shaded characters. He is the father of actor, Darshan and film director Dinakar. Early life Srinivas was born to Muniswami and Parvathamma in 1943 as their fourth son. He had eight siblings.
