Dwarakish
Bungle Shama Rao Dwarakanath (born 19 August 1942), better known as Dwarakish ( ), is an Indian actor, director and producer in the Kannada film industry. He was given the name Dwarakish by Kannada film maker C. V. Shivashankar. Early life Dwarakish was born on 19 August 1942. He grew up in Ittigegud, Mysore. He received his primary education in Sharada Vilas and Banumaiah's school, and he graduated from CPC Polytechnic with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. After completing his education, Dwarakish and his brother started an automotive spare-parts business called "Bharath Auto Spares" in Gandhi Square, Mysore. He was strongly attracted to acting and often asked his maternal uncle, a famous cinema director Hunusur Krishnamurthy, to give him a chance to act in movies. Dance Raja Dance
''Dance Raja Dance'' is a 1987 Indian Kannada-language dance film, directed and produced by Dwarakish for his Dwarakish Chitra banner. The film stars newcomers Vinod Raj, Divya and Sangeetha. The film released to positive response by critics and audience and the lead star Vinod Raj was lauded for his dancing skills. For this movie, the climax was shot by helicopter, apart from that they used five cameras to shoot this climax scene. Actually it was Dwarakish's Dream to shoot Mysore from an aerial angle. He dropped that idea due to a financial crisis. But the then Chief minister Ramakrishna Hegde learned of this dream and he helped Dwarakish to do so. He called his minister Siddaramaiah to go to Mysore with a helicopter. He went with the helicopter and told Dwarakish to utilize the helicopter. ''Kittu Puttu'' is a 1977 Indian Kannada-language comedy drama film directed by C. V. Rajendran and produced by Dwarakish. The film stars Vishnuvardhan, Dwarakish, Manjula, K. Vijaya and Vaishali Kasaravalli. The film was widely appreciated for its songs and story upon release. The songs tuned by Rajan–Nagendra were huge hits. The movie is a remake of 1967 Tamil movie ''Anubavi Raja Anubavi'' which was also earlier remade in Hindi in 1973 as ''Do Phool''. ''Kittu Puttu'' went on to also inspire the 1993 Hindi movie '' Aankhen''. The dual role played by Nagesh was reprised by Mehmood in the Hindi version and by Dwarakish in the Kannada version. Apthamitra
''Apthamitra'' () is a 2004 Indian Kannada-language horror film directed by P. Vasu, and stars Vishnuvardhan, Soundarya and Ramesh Arvind in the lead roles with Prema, Dwarakish and Avinash in supporting roles. This was Soundarya's last film in her career which ended with two posthumous releases - the other being the Telugu movie '' Shiva Shankar'' which released few days before ''Apthamitra''. The movie is a loosely based on the 1993 Malayalam classic film ''Manichithrathazhu'' with a few scenes borrowed from the 1997 Malayalam film '' Aaraam Thampuran''.
