Vidul Glacier
Vidul Glacier ( bg, ледник Видул, lednik Vidul, ) is the 7.5 km long and 1.4 km wide glacier on the east side of the main crest of northern Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It is situated northwest of Skaklya Glacier and southwest of the middle course of Newcomer Glacier. The glacier drains the north slopes of Mount Reimer and the east slopes of Mount Dawson, flows northwards and joins Newcomer Glacier west of Mount Warren in Gromshin Heights. The glacier is named after the Bulgarian rebel leader Vidul Voyvoda (Vidul Vidulov, 1777-1833). Location Vidul Glacier is centred at . US mapping in 1961. Sentinel Range
The Sentinel Range is a major mountain range situated northward of Minnesota Glacier and forming the northern half of the Ellsworth Mountains in Antarctica. The range trends NNW-SSE for about and is 24 to 48 km (15 to 30 mi) wide. Ellsworth Mountains
The Ellsworth Mountains are the highest mountain ranges in Antarctica, forming a long and wide chain of mountains in a north to south configuration on the western margin of the Ronne Ice Shelf in Marie Byrd Land. They are bisected by Minnesota Glacier to form the Sentinel Range to the north and the Heritage Range to the south. Skaklya Glacier
Skaklya Glacier ( bg, ледник Скакля, lednik Skaklya, ) is the long and wide glacier on the east side of the main crest of northern Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It is situated northwest of Zhenda Glacier and southeast of the head of Vidul Glacier. The glacier drains the south slopes of Mount Reimer and the north slopes of Blenika Peak, flows east-northeastwards and together with Zhenda Glacier joins Sabazios Glacier west of Mount Lanning in Sostra Heights. Newcomer Glacier
Newcomer Glacier () is a glacier long transecting the north part of the Sentinel Range, flowing from the vicinity of Allen Peak southeast between Gromshin Heights and the main ridge of range, and then east between Gromshin Heights and Sostra Heights to where it leaves the Sentinel Range north of Bracken Peak and south of Foros Spur. Mount Reimer
Mount Reimer () is a mountain, 2,430 m, in the northern portion of the Sentinel Range, standing on the south side of Newcomer Glacier 5 mi southwest of Mount Warren. It surmounts Skaklya Glacier to the southeast and Vidul Glacier to the north-northwest. The mountain was named by US-ACAN for John D. Mount Dawson (Antarctica)
Mount Dawson () is a sharp, pyramidal mountain located 4 km (2.5 mi) northwest of Mount Reimer in the north part of the Sentinel Range, Antarctica. It surmounts Vidul Glacier to the east. The mountain was discovered by the Charles R. Bentley-led Marie Byrd Land Traverse Party, 1957–58, and named after Major Merle R. List Of Glaciers In The Antarctic
There are many glaciers in the Antarctic. This set of lists does not include ice sheets, ice caps or ice fields, such as the Antarctic ice sheet, but includes glacial features that are defined by their flow, rather than general bodies of ice. The lists include outlet glaciers, valley glaciers, cirque glaciers, tidewater glaciers and ice streams. Ice streams are a type of glacier and many of them have "glacier" in their name, e.g. Pine Island Glacier. Ice shelves are listed separately in the List of Antarctic ice shelves.
