Victória Pitts
Ana Victória Pitts (born 1991) is a Brazilian mezzo-soprano who has performed internationally. Career Pitts was born in Belém in 1991 and was first trained there. From 2008, she studied at the . She made her stage debut in Belém in 2010 as Dido in Purcell's ''Dido and Aeneas''. She received a scholarship and continued her studies in Italy from 2011 at the Rovigo conservatoire, where she graduated in 2014. In 2011, Pitts won the Young Promise Award at the International Sacred Music Competition in Rome. In 2014, she made her European debut in the world premiere of Paolo Furlani's ''The Water Babies'' at the . Pitts was a member of the studio of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino from 2015 to 2017, where she appeared in Ullmann's ''Der Kaiser von Atlantis'', as Hänsel in Humperdinck's ''Hansel and Gretel (opera), Hänsel und Gretel'', Flora in Verdi's ''La Traviata'', and Tisbe in Rossini's ''La Cenerentola''. Theatro Da Paz
Theatro da Paz (Peace Theater), is a brazilian theater located in the Praça da República (Republic Square) on the city of Belém, capital of the state of Pará, in Brazil. Theatro da Paz was built following neoclassical architectural lines, within the golden age of rubber in Amazon Basin. It is considered the most important culture house in northern Brazil. Its name has been suggested by bishop D. Macedo Costa, who also launched the ''fundamental stone'' of its construction, on March 3, 1869. Along the years, Theatro da Paz has suffered minor alterations in its façade, namely the reduction of the number of columns over the main entrance. Its architectural lines remain unaltered, though. Željko Lučić
Željko Lučić (born 24 February 1968), is a Serbian operatic baritone who has had an active international career since 1993. He was a member of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad from 1993 to 1998 and at the Frankfurt Opera from 1998 to 2008. He is particularly well known for his performances in the operas of Giuseppe Verdi; having portrayed a total of 23 leading roles from the great composer's works. Pier Giorgio Morandi
Pier Giorgio Morandi (born 1958) is an Italian oboist and conductor, especially of Italian opera of the 19th and early 20th century, who has worked internationally. After having played as principal oboe at La Scala in Milan, he turned to conducting, holding positions at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, the Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest, and the Royal Swedish Opera. He recorded productions of Verdi's ''Il trovatore'' at the Verona Arena and Puccini's ''Madama Butterfly'' at the Metropolitan Opera. Career Morandi was born in Biella. Claus Guth
Claus Guth (born 1964) is a German theatre director, focused on opera. He has directed operas at major houses and festivals, including world premieres such as works of the Munich Biennale, and Berio's '' Cronaca del luogo'' at the Salzburg Festival in 1999. The Oper Frankfurt (Frankfurt Opera) is a German opera company based in Frankfurt. ''Il trittico'' (''The Triptych'') is the title of a collection of three one-act operas, ''Il tabarro'', ''Suor Angelica'', and ''Gianni Schicchi'', by Giacomo Puccini. The work received its world premiere at the Metropolitan Opera on 14 December 1918. Background Around 1904, Puccini first began planning a set of one-act operas, largely because of the success of Pietro Mascagni's ''Cavalleria rusticana''. Originally, he planned to write each opera to reflect one of the parts of Dante's ''Divine Comedy''. However, he eventually based only ''Gianni Schicchi'' on Dante's epic poem.
