Victor Caballero (born August 26, 1960) is a former tennis player from Paraguay, who represented his native country as a lucky loser at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. There he was defeated in the first round by qualifier Zeeshan Ali from India. Zeeshan Ali (born 1 January 1970) is a former Indian Davis Cup player who also competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. The right-hander reached his highest singles ATP ranking on 12 December 1988, when he became the number 126 of the world when he was still 3 weeks short of his 19th birthday. Career He remained in the top 130 (with the exception of a couple of weeks) until August 1991. His singles highlights in 1988 included winning the Indian Satellite Circuit, making R2 of the ATP tour event in Schenectady (losing to Johan Kriek in R2) and at the Seoul Olympics (where he lost to Jacob Hlasek in R2), making the finals of a Challenger in (losing to Vijay Amritraj) and the semifinal of a Challenger in Indonesia. Dead Rubber
Dead rubber is a term used in sporting parlance to describe a match in a series where the series result has already been decided by earlier matches. The dead rubber match therefore has no effect on the winner and loser of the series, other than the total number of matches won and lost. The term is used in Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup tennis, as well as in international cricket, field hockey, the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, Rugby World Cup and the State of Origin series. Jaroslav Navrátil (born 24 July 1957) is a Czech former professional tennis player. Navrátil had most of his tennis success while playing doubles. During his career, he achieved a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 31 in 1987. He was the captain of the Davis Cup team for the Czech Republic from 2006-2018, including for their 2012 win.
