Vernon K. Jensen
Vernon K. Jensen (March 3, 1912 – December 11, 1982) was an American politician and veterinarian. Jensen was born in Montevideo, Chippewa County, Minnesota and graduated from Montevideo Central High School. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College The Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) is the oldest veterinary school in Canada. It is located on the campus of the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario. The OVC is one of five veterinary schools that offer the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, DV ..., Guelph, Ontario, Canada, in 1933. He lived in Montevideo, Minnesota with his wife and family. Jensen served on the Montevideo School Board and was president of the school board. He also served on the Minnesota State Veterinary Board and was the president of the state veterinary board. Montevideo is a city in Chippewa County, Minnesota, Chippewa County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 5,383 at the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census. Chippewa County, Minnesota
Chippewa County is a county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 12,598. Its county seat is Montevideo. The county was formed in 1862, and was organized in 1868. History Chippewa County was organized on March 5, 1868, after having been part of Renville County. The northern boundary change separating it from Swift County led to reorganization on February 18, 1870. The first three county commissioners, appointed by the governor, were Daniel S. Wilkins, Ole Thorson and M. Davidson. The county commissioners first met at Wilkins's cabin on January 9, 1869. Wilkins was appointed chairman of the board. Guelph ( ; 2021 Canadian Census population 143,740) is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada.
