Verbandsliga Brandenburg
The Brandenburg-Liga (VI) (''formerly the Verbandsliga Brandenburg'') is the highest league for football teams exclusively in the German state of Brandenburg and at step six of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fifth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the fourth tier. The champions of the Brandenburg-Liga are directly promoted to the NOFV-Oberliga Nord. If the champion is from the southern part of the state, it enters the Oberliga Süd. NOFV-Oberliga Nord
The NOFV-Oberliga Nord is the fifth tier of the German football league system in the northern states of the former East Germany and West Berlin. It covers the German states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and northern Saxony-Anhalt. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. Overview The NOFV-Oberliga Nord was formed in 1991 when, along with the political reunification of Germany, the former East German football league system was integrated into the unified German one. SV Falkensee-Finkenkrug is a German football club from the communities of Falkensee and Finkenkrug in Brandenburg, near the western border of Berlin. History The club was established in 1913 as ''Neufinkenkruger Ballspiel Club'' and was soon known as ''Sportverein Finkenkrug''. Like other organizations in the country, it was ordered dissolved in the aftermath of World War II by occupying Allied authorities, but was reconstituted in 1945 as ''Sportgemeinde Finkenkrug'', and became part of the separate football league structure that emerged in the Soviet-occupied eastern half of Germany. Ludwigsfelder FC is a Football in Germany, German football club from Ludwigsfelde in Brandenburg. History The association was created in 1947 as ''Vorwärts Ludwigsfelde'' as the World War II, postwar successor to ''Rot-Weiß Ludwigsfelde'' established in 1939. The club was renamed ''BSG Traktor Ludwigsfelde'' in 1952, then ''BSG Motor Ludwigsfelde'' in 1953, before going on to make several appearances in East Germany's second division DDR-Liga through the 1970s and 1980s. After German reunification in 1990 the club competed in the Landesliga Brandenburg (VI) until winning its way to the Brandenburg-Liga, Verbandsliga Brandenburg (V) in 1997. SG Bornim is a German association football club based in Bornim, an Ortsteil of Potsdam in Brandenburg. History Founded in September 1927, the club merged with ''Schwarz-Weiß-Grün Universum Töplitz'' in 1928 to play as ''Brandenburger Sport Club Bornim Schwarz-Weiß-Grün''. FV Preussen Eberswalde is a German association football club from Eberswalde, Brandenberg northeast of Berlin. History The club was founded on 1 July 1909 as ''FC Preussen Eberswalde'' (FC Prussia Eberswalde) and steadily improved in the period leading up to World War I advancing to play in the top local league. FSV Optik Rathenow is a German association football club who compete in the Oberliga. The club is situated in the city of Rathenow, near Berlin, and play their home games at the Vogelgesang. FC Energie Cottbus (Lower Sorbian: ''Energija Chóśebuz'') is a German football club based in Cottbus, Brandenburg. It was founded in 1963 as SC Cottbus in what was East Germany.
