''Veedevadandi Babu'' is a 1997 Indian Telugu-language Comedy film written and directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana and Cinematography by Chota K. Naidu. The film is an official remake of the Tamil film ''Ullathai Allitha'' which itself was heavily inspired by the Hindi film ''Andaz Apna Apna''. The film stars Mohan Babu, Shilpa Shetty and Tanikella Bharani. The film was dubbed in Bengali as ''Amar Pratiggya''. Amanchi Venkata Subrahmanyam (2 January 1957 – 8 November 2013), better known and credited by his initials AVS, was an Indian actor, comedian, producer, director, and journalist known for his works in Telugu cinema. A.V.S. was known particularly for his comic dialogue delivery, and expressions. Sujatha Mohan (credited as Sujatha) is an Indian playback singer who is popular for singing in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies. She has also sung for Kannada, Badaga, Hindi and Marathi movies. Gunupudi Viswanath Sastri, popularly known by his screen name Ironleg Sastri, was an Indian comedian who predominantly worked in Telugu-language films. He acted in more than 150 films. E. V. V.
