Antony Eastman
Antony Eastman (26 August 1946 – 3 July 2021) was an Indian film director. He directed six films, Ambada Njaane! being his most noteworthy film. He was also credited with bringing Silk Smitha to the Malayalam film industry. Early life Antony was born as the son of Muringatheri Kuriakose and Martha on 26 August 1946 in Chowannur, Kingdom of Cochin, British India. He completed his school education from Chowannur St Thomas School and Kunnamkulam Government High School. He started his career as a photographer in mid - 1960s. Kaloor Dennis is an Indian film scriptwriter and novelist in Malayalam movies. He started his career with ''Anubhavangale Nandi'' in 1979. He worked for more than 100 Malayalam movies with the areas of his contribution including script, story and dialogue. Mala Aravindan (15 January 1939 – 28 January 2015) was an Indian actor. He was best known for his work as a comedian and character artist in Malayalam films. He has acted in over 500 films. Early life He was born in Vadavucode, Ernakulam district of Kerala, Kerala state as the eldest son of Thanattu Ayyappan and Ponnamma. Kaviyoor Ponnamma is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam films and television. She began her career performing in theatre dramas before foraying into cinema. She has also acted in TV serials and commercials and has playback singing credits in few films. Ponnamma is a four-time Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress winner. Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit. He dominated the Malayalam film scene in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s as a comedian along with Adoor Bhasi and Bahadoor. Later, he switched to character roles. Shubha is an Indian actress who acted prominently in Malayalam films. She was a lead actress during the late 1970s and early 1980s. She also acted in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi films. She was the second lead in the cult Kannada classic ''Naagarahaavu'' (1972)''.'' For this, she received Karnataka State Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for the year 1972–73. Muhammed Haneefa (22 April 1951 – 2 February 2010), better known by his stage name Cochin Haneefa, was an Indian actor, film director, and screenwriter. Padmadalakshan, better known by his stage name Kuthiravattam Pappu (24 December 1936 – 25 February 2000), was a popular Indian stage and film actor. Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films. Sukumari began acting at the age of 10. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions toward the arts. She won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Tamil film ''Namma Gramam'' (2010). Sukumari died on 26 March 2013 in Chennai, following a heart attack.
