Vaaname Ellai
''Vaaname Ellai'' () is a 1992 Indian Tamil language drama film written and directed by K. Balachander, starring Anand Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Madhoo, Vishali Kannadasan, Rajesh and Babloo Prithiveeraj. The story involves five characters from different backgrounds, who get vexed with their lives, jointly decide to end their lives together, but begin a short journey of 100 days to live together happily before dying. The story of ''Vaaname Ellai'' was conceived after Balachander became upset learning of numerous suicides inspired by his own film ''Ek Duuje Ke Liye'' (1981), and was convinced he could make a film speaking against suicide. Anand Babu
Anand Babu is an Indian actor who was known for his works in Tamil films. He is the son of legendary comedy actor Nagesh. Career He first entered the film industry with Tamil films and also played leading roles in Telugu as well as supporting roles. He is also well known for his best dancing abilities. Indukuri Ramakrishnam Raju (31 August 1934 – 14 August 1994), populary known by his pen name Rajasri, was an Indian lyricist, screenwriter, film director, and music composer in Telugu cinema. He has worked on nearly 1000 films, a majority of them are dubbed films. He was popularly referred to as ''Anuvaada Brahma'' (). He used to pen Telugu lyrics for most of the films dubbed from Tamil in the 1980s and early 1990s. ''Chatrapathi'' is a 2005 Indian Telugu-language action drama film co-written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli and produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film ''Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. During the course of his 40-year film career, he has written over 7,500 songs and poems which have won him seven National Awards, the most for any Indian lyricist.
