Vũ Thị Hoàng My (born 13 November 1988, in Đồng Nai Province) is a Vietnamese beauty queen, athlete, humanitarian activist, and filmmaker. She is the first Vietnamese beauty pageant titleholder to be chosen to represent the 2 biggest beauty pageants in the world: Miss Universe 2011 and Miss World 2012 and was the strongest representative of Vietnam (2011). Hoang My is considered an icon of healthy lifestyle, and has had success as a model, host, copywriter, and dancer. She consults for beauty pageants, sports projects, NGO organisations and film projects. As a filmmaker, she produces both fiction and documentary features. She speaks Vietnamese and English fluently. Miss Vietnam
Miss Vietnam (Vietnamese: Hoa hậu Việt Nam, formerly Hoa hậu Toàn quốc Báo Tiền phong until 2000) is a beauty contest in Vietnam that has been held biennially since 1988. Along with Miss Universe Vietnam and Miss World Vietnam, Miss Vietnam is one of the Big Three national beauty pageants. This contest was initiated and organized by Tiền Phong Newspaper and Sen Vàng Productions. The pageant crowned the Vietnam representatives to compete in two of the major international beauty pageants: Miss World and Miss International (alternate with Miss World Vietnam). Ordos (city)
Ordos ( Mongolian: ''Ordos''; ), also known as Ih Ju, is one of the twelve major subdivisions of Inner Mongolia, China. It lies within the Ordos Plateau of the Yellow River. Lưu Thị Diễm Hương is a beauty pageant winner and student who won the title of Miss Vietnam World 2010. Diễm Hương was born on August 30, 1990, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Diễm Hương did not go to Miss World 2010 but she was sent to represent Vietnam in the Miss Earth 2010 pageant in Nha Trang, Vietnam. She won the Vietnam Supermodel 2008 contest and is the 1st runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam 2008. She represented Vietnam in the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas. Operation Smile is a nonprofit medical service organization founded in 1982 by Dr. William P. Magee Jr. and his wife Kathleen (Kathy) S. Magee. It is headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
