Võ Thị Ánh Xuân
Võ Thị Ánh Xuân (born 8 January 1970) is a Vietnamese politician and former educator who currently serves as the Vice President of Vietnam since 2021. She was the Acting President of Vietnam in early 2023. She was elected Vice President of Vietnam on 6 April 2021 after winning 93.13% of the votes in the National Assembly, continuing the recent norm of having a woman holding this position. Prior to her election, Xuân served as the Secretary of the Party Committee (''de facto'' Governor) of An Giang province and chaired the province's deputies delegation to the National Assembly. A member of the Party Central Committee, she is the second female president after Đặng Thị Ngọc Thịnh, who was also Acting President in 2018.
