The City Park ( hu, Városliget; german: Stadtwäldchen) is a public park close to the centre of Budapest, Hungary. It is a rectangle, with an area of , located in District XIV of Budapest, between ''Hungária körút'', ''Ajtósi Dürer sor'', ''Vágány utca'' and ''Dózsa György út''. Zugló (german: Lerchenfeld) is the official name of the 14th district of Budapest ( hu, Budapest XIV. kerülete), the capital of Hungary. It is a large and mixed neighborhood, with communist era style highrise apartments sprinkled between decently kept one house residential streets. Városliget, the City Park is located at the western part of the district. Its popularity comes from the fact that it has leafy suburb style neighbourhoods closest to the city center. Hungária körgyűrű (lit. '' Hungary beltway'' or ''Hungary boulevard'') is the longest and busiest boulevard, also the widest city street in Budapest, Hungary. It's 13 km long and has 6-10 traffic lanes with a rapid tram line on the median of the boulevard. It consists of three parts: Róbert Károly körút, Hungária körút and Könyves Kálmán körút. Budapest Circus
The Capital Circus of Budapest ( hu, Fővárosi Nagycirkusz) is a circus building located in Budapest, Hungary. It originally opened in 1889, although it has changed locations since then. Its current building opened in 1971 and is the only stone circus in Central Europe. It seats 1450 people, and features animal, clown, and artistic performing acts. The building is in Városliget city park, near by are the Budapest Zoo, the Budapest Amusement park, Vajdahunyad Castle and the Széchenyi thermal bath. Ajtósi Dürer sor is a road in the XIV. district of Budapest, Hungary, along the south-eastern edge of Városliget, between Dózsa György út and Hungária körút (Hungary Boulevard). The buildings date back from the end of the 19th century and the interwar period. Its name was given in 1929 on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Albrecht Dürer's death. Heroes' Square (Budapest)
Hősök tere (), lit. Heroes' Square, is one of the major squares in Budapest, Hungary, noted for its iconic Millennium Monument with statues featuring the Seven chieftains of the Magyars and other important Hungarian national leaders, as well as the Memorial Stone of Heroes, often erroneously referred as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The square lies at the outbound end of Andrássy Avenue next to City Park (''Városliget''). It hosts the Museum of Fine Arts and the '' Palace of Art'' (Műcsarnok). Gundel is a well-known restaurant located in the Budapest City Park, Hungary. History A previous restaurant in the spot, ''Wampetich'', opened in 1894.
